With 69 days left for the padayatra for peace & harmony led by Sri M, the support and goodwill that the initiative has generated around the country has been overwhelming.
The gaining momentum and patronage received has been a source of continuous encouragement for everyone involved in the Walk of Hope 2015-16. Above all, it is a clear indicator of the relevance of this initiative in ensuring a nation fit enough to be bequeathed to future generations.
Sri M met Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Scientist, Administrator and Ex-President of India, on October 25, 2014, and apprised him of the national initiative and its focus on bringing together citizens from all walks of life for a better India for our future generations. Dr Kalam was highly appreciative of the thought that went into the realisation of the initiative and supportive of all associated activities that would go to make this a national event.
