Join Team Walk of Hope as a proud volunteer for the Walk of Hope 2015-16 in Bengaluru

The Walk of Hope 2015-16 will pass through Bangalore in the first week of April, 2015. The Walk of Hope 2015 Team is now looking for volunteers who can contribute to spreading the word and getting the local communities to participate in the walk.

Each volunteer would take a specific stretch of approximately 2-4 kms of the Walk of Hope route and would enlist the support of local communities. Ideally the volunteer must be a resident of that area. This would also involve volunteers who will help in enlisting the support of institutions (like colleges /schools) and corporates in the city.

Here is the Current Route for the Walk of Hope in Bengaluru.

• Day 1 - April 3, 2015
• Day 2 - April 4, 2015
• Day 3 - April 5, 2015
• Day 4 - April 6, 2015

Sri M, along with others will start from the Sarva Dharma Kendra in Kanakapura road on the 3rd of April and will walk approximately 15 kms to Sankara on the first day.
 

The second day, i.e April 4th, he will be walking from Sankara through parts of JP Nagar /Jayanagar /Ashoka Pillar /Lalbagh /Double road to the Good shepherd school auditorium – a distance of approximately 16 kms.
 

On April 5th, a Sunday, he will start from Good Shepherd School and walk through Domlur / Sai Baba temple/ Ulsoor /MG road, Cubbon park, Vidhana Soudha and reach Freedom park.
 

On April 6th, he will walk from Freedom Park to Peenya and reach Maruthi Temple, Nelamangala Road.
 

Once you enlist as a volunteer, we would kick off the effort with an orientation meeting. The Walk of Hope Team will help you with marketing material that you can use to create awareness and enlist support of local communities, institutions and corporates.
