The revamped official website for the Walk of Hope initiative is now live

The revamped official website of the Sri M – led Walk of Hope initiative, undertaken by the Manav Ekta Mission is now live at www.walkofhope.in.
 
It was a given that an initiative of this magnitude, involving voluntary public participation across the length and breadth of India needed to have a central source of updated information and engagement, that could be accessed by anyone, from anywhere, on any device. While being a current and enriching source of information, it will also serve as the rallying point for anyone interested in participating or volunteering for the Walk of Hope 2015 -16 to effectively communicate with the organizing team and have their queries immediately addressed using the latest channels of communication.
 
For those separated by geographies or are unable to participate physically with the Walkers of Hope, the website also offers an innovative, one-of-a-kind way to virtually walk with Sri M, and also proudly associate with the specific objectives of Walk of Hope that they closely relate to, with just one’s mobile phone. In terms of design, the Walk of Hope website closely relates to the central theme of the Manav Ekta Mission’s online presence, yet keeping its own aesthetic identity in terms of design and layout. This has been consciously effected to have a underlying thematic correlation between all the online properties of the Manav Ekta Mission, the rest of which would go online in the coming weeks.
 
It is hoped that this new interactive, online, multimedia – centric digital presence, with powerful search and browsing tools will help all those interested to walk for India and those who support it from across the world, in keeping themselves updated on the latest initiative of the Manav Ekta Mission, slated to begin on 12 January 2015, from Kanyakumari.
